Founder & CEO
Mark E. Curry

Mark E. Curry is the founder and CEO of Grupo SOL, a fintech consulting company located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mark has over 20 years in the fintech space and has founded and exited businesses in sectors ranging from litigation support, software development, and consumer finance. In addition to starting successful businesses, Mark has also founded local non-profit organizations, including the Mark E. Curry Family Foundation and De la Mesa a la Calle. Mark attended Rockhurst University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and Baker University where he earned his MBA. Mark enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and mentoring young entrepreneurs.

Miguel Principe

As President of Grupo SOL, Miguel spearhead's the family office's operations and business development efforts. Since inception, Miguel has lead the Family Office's diligence efforts into diverse investment opportunities in financial services, emerging technologies, and strategic partnerships. Miguel has over 30 years of management experience in finance and technology. Miguel enjoys exploring new ways to help businesses grow, networking, and government relations.
CFO
Felix Cosme

As CFO of Grupo SOL, Felix is responsible for financial modeling and investment analysis of potential new business ventures. Prior to joining our team, Felix worked for Nestle as a Business Controller for 5 years and a Sales Controller for 3 years. Felix earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Puerto Rico and he is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Felix spends his free time biking, reading, and hanging out with his son.
General Counsel
Badel A Hernández

As General Counsel of Grupo SOL, Badel is responsible for managing all legal aspects of the company including transaction structuring, compliance and regulatory matters, maintaining all corporate governance affairs, overseeing human resources functions, and government relations, among others. Prior to joining Grupo SOL, Badel spent over a decade as in-house legal counsel and director of operations for specialized financial services firms and law firms in Puerto Rico, having spearheaded multiple significant real estate transactions and assisted investors in significant capital deployments that have helped reshape San Juan’s business district. Badel graduated from the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Operations. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
